I wanted to do something simple, low key but fun for D. First, the guys went golfing at first while the ladies had some at home fun with the kids.
My friend Jenn made these delicious rice paper rolls!
And brought this bouncy castle for the kids. It was a big hit!!
My parents came to visit and really helped me out tons. They cooked all the food.
Jenga is always a hit, whatever the age.
Cassia did a voluntary concert
And there were just a few tears
And I did a tres leches cake as it was the birthday boy's favourite
We had such a wonderful time with our family and friends and we're so thankful that another year of D's life has been filled with health and happiness! Thanks for coming out to celebrate D, everyone!!
Linking up on this fine day with:
Biana for weekending

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday and looks like you guys had so much fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful celebration. I LOVE Tres Leches cake to. It's definitely the best!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a super fun day! Those rice paper rolls look so yummy :)
ReplyDeleteTotally off topic but I love your nail color!
ReplyDeleteThe appetizers were great , especially the dip and rice paper roll, TNT Chinese food, especially the pepper shrimp, veg, fried rice, cheesy potatoes, and oster chicken ( well, the cheesy potato is not Chinese , but TNT favorite). The adults sure had a good time but the kids really enjoyed themselves with the bounty castle, games, food, and dressing up.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful and healthy year D.
