Swing life away!

When I was a little girl, my brothers and I loved going to our Uncle's house every Christmas... They had snacks, cable TV, lots of books and a swing set--- we though they were the luckiest people ever. My brothers and I would spend hours and hours taking turns on the two people swing set. I couldn't imagine ever having one of my own and being able to swing whenever I wanted. My parents also used to take us to Irving Park growing up and we loved swinging on the rusty swings and the slides that were a bit of a burn hazard-everything was iron and there was usually hot sun- you do the math.

As an adult, I still understand my kids' fascination with swings. In the summer, we go to the park often and both kids could spend ages on the swings. Whilst at Darin's parents house last month, the swings were hot commodities around the foreign cousins--- the local ones, not so much. (looking back I guess  if we had our own swings when we were kids, we maybe would not have used them everyday). But with group think or as trinis would say 'monkey see, monkey do', soon everyone began to swing-- and then there were mini brawls over who got which swing--- but I digress.

Anyways, it's nice to know that swings are still cool!

A to A- Hey, what are they doing? Looks cool right.

Two little ladies-- and I use the word 'ladies' very loosely

Even little A got in on the action

C'mon Cass- that's just being greedy.

Swing me higher!

Crowd in for some cousin time!
