Labour Day Weekend 2016

And just like that summer is over... #notreally #stillsmokinghot.

This Labour Day weekend was super low key as our plans to the Sandbanks with our cousins got cancelled. Instead we did a whole pile of random stuff

+ We started on Thursday night by taking the kids to dinner and then dropping them off by friends/family and heading to the UB 40 concert (Red, red, wine)

+ The girls and I accepted a last minute invite to a girls' night at my friends' house on Friday where we dined on homemade pizza and Trinidadian food

+ On Saturday, we did our 'yes' day which consisted of pancakes, a playdate and too much screen time.

+ I got in some market, grocery and BBW shopping.

+ D cleaned out the pool garage which made me very, very happy!

+ We made dinner on the grill and we opened a nice bottle of red.

+ On Sunday, friends came over for some burgers, pool and play time. Five girls= five times the fun

+ Our friends Jenn and Alex came over on Monday morning to make a stash of hot sauce as we were both running out. #emergencysituation

+  The rest of the day, we spent cleaning out the garage and storage room and prepping stuff for school before heading out to our annual back to school dinner. The kids chose Turtle Jacks again. Who would have thought that last year when we went there, this year we would have moved close enough to walk to it!

And jnow life and routines begin again!!!
