Three Things Thursday- Family Edition

I haven't done a family catch up in awhile so now that we are back to school and back on track, here's a little 411 (or really 1-2-3) on each of us!

A-
1- Little Miss hadn't been so well in August. She is on the upswing thank God and is back to extra curricular, school and fun stuff.
2- Girlfriend is absolutely obsessed with her rainbow loom. We got it from a neighbour's daughter who was cleaning out her craft stuff and she plays with it every.single.day. The loom goes to dinner, to parties, on vacations and gets played with every day after school.
3- Her extra curriculars for this year are skating, gymnastics and piano. Piano is new but she is an old hand at the other two.

C-
1- Grade 5 is suiting this girl well.... She is signing up for all these leadership, supervisory and extra stuff in school as a Junior and is loving having her time busy.
2- Every Wednesday, we head to the library. Girlfriend borrows more books than she can possibly choose.. Her reader mama could not be more proud.
3- Her extra curricular this year is swimming, volleyball, piano and violin. Volleyball is the new one for her.

D-
1- D is obsessed with Suits. He's a binge watcher in the truest sense of the word.
2- Fun fact, he is the biggest person in the house but uses the least laundry in the entire house.
3- He is the best recycling sorter ever. Very sorted, neat and tidy. I think during the holidays, the garbage and recycling people should also be tipping him!!

Me-
1- I'm on a organising kick which usually happens right before summer and in the fall. These past few days, my closet.
2- Back on the low (er) carb train after a somewhat more indulgent summer... I feel so much better when I eat cleaner.
3- I'm also on a waste not, want not kick with less spending on food, house stuff and my stuff. Maybe it stems from #1 on my list.

Have a terrific Thursday, friends!!

  2. This post made me smile, sweet friend! Your family is so precious! I'm so sorry to hear that A hadn't been so well in August, but am glad she's on the upswing now and creating continually with her beloved loom. :) Hooray for C's love of books! That's absolutely wonderful! When you first said your hubby is obsessed with suits, I expected to see a bunch of fashion shots of him wearing new suits - lol! Obviously, I'm missing out as I've never seen an episode of the show Suits! :D Way to go on your waste not/want not, organizing, and cleaner eating. After a really indulgent week (or more), I need to get back on the better eating train myself. Wishing you and your beautiful family a wonderful upcoming weekend!
