Cruising 1!!

Happy Friday! After the first awesome week (albeit a shorter one) of school, we are ready for some family time this weekend.

Here's Part 1 of the recap of our cruise. This time, after cruising with Disney a couple times we booked a Royal Caribbean cruise and my parents and brother and his family joined us for seven days of summer fun!

A wasn't well right before the cruise but she was such a trooper! We headed to Fort Lauderdale the day before and spent some time with D's brother and his family before leaving for the cruise at lunch time! My sister in law and I stayed up way too late in the night chatting!

Hello FLL!!!

We met all our family in Port Everglades but alas can't find the cruise picture they took of us!

The kids were so excited to see their cousins!

We grabbed a "snack" at about 2 pm LOL.

And some other refreshments ;-)

Emergency drills!

Dinner that night was yummy! SO was dessert!

Lots of us went on the carousel and to play on the boardwalk!

Some play time in the room after.

This girlie was tired--- so was her mama!

Bright and not so early the next morning, we trudged into breakfast. Lots of people at the breakfast joints so we checked out three options before finding some great food in the American Grille.

Then I went ziplining-- not pictured and C tried some boogie boarding! Girlfriend was a natural!!

Back to the boardwalk as A was feeling good enough to go on the climber...

And the carousel!

Cheers to 13 years-- our anniversary fell on this date so we had a little lunch date!

The ice show after was lit!!!

The kids and the dads went to see a movie so I made it to the adult pool for some reading time, my book and a power nap!

Time for the first formal night!

Unitentional twinsies!

Our hostess for the week was so awesome!!!

My parents took the kiddos to a movie while we headed to the champagne and martini bar for an adult beverage.

And some posers came to meet us after!

Day 3 started with breakfast, some gym for me and some playtime in the kids' club  for the kiddos.
They watched movies and played all day  and we saw a most absolutely wonderful Mamma Mia production before Caribbean night on the ship!

Caribbean night that night on the ship--- lots of conga lines and soca!

The promenade was lit with a dance party!!

My parents watched the kids for a bit again while we went to Central Park to hang out!

And that's day 1-3... Next stop- St Maarten!

So many pictures of a whole lot of hanging out LOL.

Have fun weekending!!!

  7. I love Royal Caribbean cruises. I'm sure you met a lot of staff from T&T. The girls look so excited before getting on the ship and how funny you and the SIL ended up twinning at dinner. I went on a family cruise to Alaska years ago and the Trini chefs cooked us curry goat the last night for dinner as a surprise.
