And now we have a SEVEN year old in the house. A sweet, kind, smart kid.
One who is always asking lots of questions and in the last year has told me that she wants to know everything about everything.
A girl who is resilient and learns from her mistakes.
My busybody. Always crafting or creating something--- like the other night's concoction of yogurt, pineapple juice and flaxseeds in the toy blender… though very seedy, it was yum!
A kid who is the life of the party. One who looks at the calendar all the time to see what's going on in the weekend.
A comfort foodie-- the more carbs and cheese, the better
A giving kid--- one who is not asking for presents from her friends but for stuff for the Food Bank instead.
A shopper-- even window shopping- this girl loves a store.
In April, we had your Carnival birthday party!
In May, you got your Skating award.
In June, you had what might be your very last dance recital!
And your Kindergarten graduation
In July, we spent LOADS of time in Jenn's pool.
And in August, we headed to Disney
You started Grade 1 in September!
And you were Bat Girl for Halloween!
Mom was too busy staging a house in November to take pictures but here is one from Divali.
And Christmas was fun as usual in December
We MOVED in January and you now share a room with your sister!
We explored our new hood in February.
And had a wonderful vacation in Mexico to bring in March.
Cass--- I cannot wait to see what this next year has in store for you.
Onward and upward, sweet girl of mine!
Happy birthday sweet girl!!!
