Little Letters

Who's ready for the weekend?!
Time for some little letters!

Dear A,
I hope that the portion control you exhibit with dessert continues into your future years. No one else in this house would have a donut on their plate and then leave a bite just because they've 'had enough'.

Dear Fresh Cream Body Wash,
Showering is way more pleasant because of your fresh scent. These restricted calorie days, I can't eat fresh cream but I can certainly enjoy a shower in it.

Dear Metabolic Rate,
What gives? I'm trying my best! Can you not work with a chick?! I look at what I eat now and if we are comparing ourselves to two years ago, I should be a tiny thing.

Dear C,
I'm loving that you are trying new foods and eating your fruits and veggies including okra-- a tough one, for most. Salmon is a ways off still but I'm glad you tried a bite the other day.  Well done, little one!

Dear June,
Let's try for some more sunshine, huh? Isn't it supposed to be April showers? What's with all the rain in June?

Dear Neighbours,
You guys are awesome and win the award for being social butterflies. Loving the blind wine tasting Susan hosted the other night and Friday evening socials that are coming soon!

Dear Dance Moms,
Smiles, manners and inclusion are what we try to teach our girls. Cliques aren't okay. Neither is snarkiness even though recitals are the longest.weekend.ever. There are only a couple not so nice apples but boy can they spoil a basket.

Dear Weekend,
You will be a packed one. Please let us get through you with a get together, dance recital, two night hotel stay, 9:30 am Sunday morning weekend and after party!

Dear Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie from our local health food store,
I crave you every single day. I cannot afford you every single day though! I've tried to recreate you at home but it's just not working out.

Have a wonderful weekend, friends! It's going to be a busy one.

  1. Such a fun approach to Friday favs and guess I want a chocolate, peanut butter smoothie, lol!! Happy weekend babe!!

  2. Loved this post!! So fun, witty, and perfectly you, friend! I need your daughter's donut self control (seriously impressive!), can totally relate the wanting of cravings that my bank account can't afford, and have been the girl looking for the phone I'm holding this week (although to be more specific it was me in the car, looking all over for the sunglasses that were on top of my head! lol) Thanks for sharing, and for the laughs! Hope the packed weekend ahead ends up being pleasant and memorable! xo

  3. Oh my word Emily does that with the donuts too. She's all like "save it for later" and I kinda just want to cram it in my mouth along with mine. Baha ha! Sorry for the mama drama. that is never any fun.

  4. I never understand snarkiness....Annabelle just had her first dance recital (four year olds are so cute), and I am looking forward to more. I hope that she wants to continues! That blind wine tasty sounds so much fun!! I may have to do that with my moms club.

  5. The shower cream sounds good! Enjoy the weekend!

  6. I love okra! But it may be die to the fact that the first time I tried it it was derp fried ;) June gloom is raging over here too.

  7. Healthy eating are so important to learn from young so it's great your girls are learning them in their own way. Having fun and friendly neighbors makes a world of difference.
    Have a great weekend lady!

  8. Oh my goodness I'm cracking up at the metabolism meme....feel ya! And Carly Jo is the same...she will have one donut and not finish it. So did NOT get this from me as I can't start eating them at all. And I feel ya friend on the glasses. My older two switched to contacts about 11 and it was so easy but my littles have not been able to figure it out. I'm so hoping they are in contacts soon because I miss seeing their adorable faces.

  9. Thanks so much for linking up!! Your blog is adorable.

Hearing from you makes me so happy!!
