What a busy week! We've had some visitors. Some cuter than others. My brother and his family have spent the last week with us visiting from NYC). Also the four of us decided to sleep train my nephew through his 4 am feed and to nap properly (homeboy went from two naps to ummm... zero. So yeah, the parents were tired). But he left our home sleeping like a champ, not feeding at night and going to nap without too much of a fuss. So proud of him… Do not cave, M & D… they are smart buggers!
It's also been a joy spending uninterrupted time with my sister in law and brother who have been such good company wonderful houseguests… I mean who doesn't love coming home to a clean house and folded laundry when you've rushed out for morning drop off (times two). And there have been chats over coffee, late nights and wine and snacks…. and really, really good chats.
Then there was Thanksgiving weekend and hosting ten adults and four kids… all sleeping over. I think every single towel and sheet I had was used. The best turkey ever (it's all about the brining and injecting), lots of convos, three different types of pies and red lobster biscuits.
So not a whole lot of blogging…. or picture taking but here are just a few of life lately that I managed to sneak in.
