Is there nothing cutie than kiddie Halloween costumes! Here's just a few of our past costumes--- as with multiple cameras and storage devices I can't seem to find all of the halloween costumes! #beforeblogging
2009
This little ladybug stole my heart
2010 and 2011 are missing but C was a berry butterfly and a mouse….
2012 (when A was born)
C became obsessed with Vidya- she loved purple and fairies and Vidya was the purple (albeit 'bad') fairy from Tinkerbell series. I found this purple fairy costume from Gymboree and she wore it constantly. It's still in our dress up box and is now in rotation with the young 'uns.
As I am quite cheap resourceful, I reused the ladybug costume for A but she looked like she was swimming in it! She kept it on for one hot minute.
And as I reuse stuff, C's outdoor costume was a mouse (again). It's a Pottery Barn costume my mom got for her so I wanted to make the most out of it.
In 2013,C was Vidya once again (we make really good use out of our stuff)
I actually bought A her very own Halloween Costume- An owl-- the headpiece and tights were too big for her though and she had a cold so I didn't even bother trying to put it on for this picture we took for a Halloween party we attended.
A still had her miserable cold so she stayed in for Halloween night .
C was also ill but managed to brave the rain and a runny nose, all in the name of candy.
In 2014, this is when both girls were into Halloween and things got really fun!
Elsa…. like SO many other five year olds.
And a teeny bird! I stuffed her coat into her costume!
Elsa and her bird.
First time Trick or Treating was a HUGE success.

Can't wait to see the other costumes out there!!
I'm surprised Aria didn't want to be something from Frozen. But you do see enough of them! Kid trends. Can't fight em =) I love that you reused your costumes too. I have all of Aria's just hanging in the closet with no idea what to do with them. Donate...Give away...save.
ReplyDeleteNow to see what they will be for 2015!
Love ALL of the costumes! Can't wait to see this years!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwww, your girls are just darling! We are for SURE reusing costumes where we can too.
ReplyDeleteLove these costumes! We're big on reusing costumes around here too. And we've had the same issue with not being able to locate old pictures. One of these days I need to seriously devote some time to sorting it all!

Aww, love all the flashbacks! The ladybugs are my fave, but that Elsa pose is spot on. She pulls off princess elegance very well :)
ReplyDeleteGirl, nothing wrong with being resourceful and recycling costumes! Brielana is going to be a ladybug this year, so cute! And Vidia is my favorite fairy too :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Love the little ladybugs! I would definitely recycle too. Halloween costumes aren't cheap! lol
