Friday 5

1- Has anyone tried piloxing? It's a combo of boxing, pilates and dancing and it's SO fun. There are a couple great videos on youtube. This one is a full workout that's not too hard but lots of fun.

2- And then there's blogilates. Now I'm a regular and the gym and I do some hard classes (talking to you Body Attack) but this lady does some toning with just your body weight and it is some hard stuff. Here's an eight minute arm workout that I've tried and it's really kinda hard! What are some of your favourite youtube workouts for days that the gym isn't possible?

3- A's one-liner for the week-- come let me get you your boots for these giant feet of yours.  You know what kid, I'm not the only one with giant feet around here! And 8.5 ain't giant! 

4- And here's what's been going on lately around here...

My seven old to my four year old when she's in the car coming home from school--- girlfriend is a hot mess.


When we go to the grocery, C asks for 10 things and I shoot her down. This is usually her reaction but it doesn't stop her from asking yet again next time.

D and I when both girls are showered and in bed by eight o'clock.

Our house on Feb 13th trying to get the class Valentines done and ready for school.

  1. I do workouts from BBG at home. They are 7 minutes sets of 4 exercises and sometimes are harder than you'd think they'd be!

  2. Ok it's funny you should mention piloxing because my work just started offering a piloxing class and I was like "wtf is piloxing?!" But you have definitely sold me on trying it! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes

  3. I've never tried any of those and haven't been to the gym in years :( I wish I could find a way to get some good workouts in. Hahaha, cracking up at that meme about nap time. Have a great weekend!

  5. What a fun post. Love your use of memes to share your week. I grew up with I Love Lucy and her job on the chocolate assembly line was hilarious. Glad to know size 8.5 isn't gigantic, so 9.5 shouldn't be too terribly big either, right??

  7. Ha 8.5 isn't a giant foot size! Too funny about the pouty face at the grocery store. I think all moms probably experience similar situations.

  8. Isn't it the best when the kids actually get to bed on time. We usually really aim to make that happen on Sundays. Every other night we are always running behind. I hope you had a great weekend!

  11. I love piloxing!! The gym I previously went to had it at one time and I even had the piloxing gloves. It's a great workout.
