Happy February, lovelies. I haven't done a Prime Lately with Tanya in ages so I thought I would get it together in time to do one this month... here are just a few of our prime purchases lately since most stores are closed here in Canada.
Pet groomers are closed and Toby was beginning to look very shaggy and couldn't see very well. We bought this set and since then, I've been borderline obsessed with thinning his fur out a bit.
Post to come soon, but since going gluten free as a family, these are our favourite cookies!
I bought this set for myself at a fraction of the cost of my old electric toothbrush, which conked out anyways. I'm a fan and may or may not have bought another one for someone else.
This was in my package of presents for my birthday and they are amazing if you have long or thick hair.
Isn't this a great gift for a teen/pre teen? I got this for one of C's friends for her birthday and she loved it!!
Rain or shine, we are walking the puppy these days! This neck warmer/face mask makes it soooo much more bearable!
I was sick of the huge mess in my plastics cupboard and this lid organiser helped neatened things up just a bit!
And now for a little currently with Anne....
Loving:
This Trinidad pelau dish that I made this weekend. It was sooo good. We ate it for three days. It looks green because of the massive amounts of kale and other vegetables I put in it.
Also loving the fancy placemats for our family Sunday brunch this weekend.
Reading:
On the Libby app-- free with my local library membership. Right now, I'm reading Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottlieb. I'm liking it more than I thought I would but it's a slower read.
Remembering:
Super bowl parties in the past. For the past few years, we've gone to our family friends' house for an awesome party. This year, we are on our own but these nachos that I made this weekend will be repeated for the big night!
Doesn't look like it but so many veggies in these-- I sautéed onions, mushroom and peppers.
Sharing
my mornings with this sweet 'pup'-- technically he is still a pup until a year but at 25 pounds, he feels like a full grown dog. Coffee and snuggles do make a wonderful morning.
Wishlisting
To see my parents and family--- I'm really feeling it these days and with closed borders and Canada's limited vaccines, I'm worried for the summer. I know it will all work out but I have my moments.
What's new with you these days? What's on your prime list?

Those nachoes look so good! We are going to make some on Sunday too :)
ReplyDeleteI hear you re vaccine supply, it seems to be going so slowly here.
I listed to Lori's book on audible and I LOVED it. She did a recent podcast interview that I saw noted somewhere...now I need to go back and find it lol. Nachos for the super bowl sound amazing!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're cheering for the Chiefs! lol. The thick hair ties look great.
ReplyDeleteThose cookies might need to be added to my cart. I am interested in reading about going GF. I think I am having skin issues that are being triggered by gluten.
ReplyDeleteI need to start going gluten free, so I'd love any food suggestions or ideas!! Those hair ties look awesome. My hair is SO thick.

Those nachos look really good! And yes, I hear you re: the vaccines in Canada and the summer. I'm really hoping for a more "normal" summer but...
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed that book - the way all of the stories wrapped up was really compelling to me. And ooooh a lid organizer - I think that just jumped onto my "need" list. Enjoy the cute puppy :)
ReplyDeleteOoooh I need that lid organizer, and those cookies look delish! Sending lots of love your way, hoping things brighten up and lots has changed for the better by summer <3

Pet groomers are closed? Wow, I would think that's an essential! Thanks for linking up with Prime Purchases! Tanya - The Other Side of the Road
ReplyDeleteThose nachos look delicious!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I need to check out those hair ties! Your puppy is adorable. :)
What a cute pup! And...I am totally ordering one of those lid organizers. Genius!!
ReplyDeleteThat light box is a perfect gift for tweens/teens! My girls would LOVE that! Tell me more about your puppy... what kind... how old... he looks SO adorable!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love Tate's cookies. They may be thin, but they're good. Those nachos look amazing! And I love my SonicCare brush.
ReplyDeleteLove those Tate's cookies too - although lucky enough not to have to do gluten-free. And I've never gotten that whole lid organizer idea - I have always found it easier to nest the lid(s)under their bowls/containers. Same with lids for pots and pans. But hey, if it works for you, yay!!
