Just a few shots from Halloween 2016.
This was the extent of our indoor decorating this year!
We were warned that there were very few trick o' treaters this year so I went big. We left a sign out with this bucket of candy but most of it remained.
Our neighbourhours/friends are so kind. A couple treats even before the trick or treating!
Here are the stars of our show.
First off, our Queen of Hearts.
And then our little mouse (fourth time for this costume #winning)
The adults got dressed up for the occasion this year too.
D told me he wanted to be hot stuff this year.... so I made sure that he was!
One of my friends asked me if there was a theme-- not a bit, Karyn.
Not.one.bit
Off to Trick or Treat!
Our neighbours were so excited to have our kids Trick or Treat. This house was especially magical with lots of 'floating' witches hats.
There's a bit of a walk between houses so eventually shouders and a wagon had to be used.
C and I dropped the other two back home and did 6 more houses. She was so excited by the stuff they got. Lots of fancy treats, Lindor chocolates and king size bars. One lady gave her 16 candy bars-- yep, 16!!!
Just over 16 and here we are-- the picture doesn't do it justice. This pile was deep.
Can you sense their excitement?! Or maybe that they already had some sugar?
And that's a wrap for Halloween 2016, folks!!
I love that y'all dressed up with the kids! 4 times wearing one costume, perfection. You have totally got your money's worth on that one friend.
ReplyDeleteI didnt' really decorate too much indoors this year either. But can we talk about how cute your girls look?! Love their costumes and that you guys dressed up with them!<3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes
