Christmas Shenanigans 20

Happy New Year, everyone! I have a little bit of a blogging break and loved every minute of (almost) unplugging. Here's just a bit of some of the fun we were up to on our awesome Christmas break.

A little movie watching--- no words.

A little time with family in Mississauga the weekend before Christmas.

Skating with  family friends at the mall (mom shopped for last minute things)

Followed by dinner-- we took a selfie and then promptly forgot to take one with our friends

D had his last day of work so the girls each had a friend over for a playdate and some more cookie decorating.

Carolling with neighbours that night - Christmas Eve Eve

A special violinist also accompanied us.

Back at a neighbours' house after for some more serenading.

On Christmas Eve, friends from Trinidad came to visit us and we invited our neighbours and friends to join us for a drink and some snacks. It was lovely. We then headed to church and then back home to dinner.

Someone got to open a present one day early.

My eyes were closed but everyone else looks good.

All dressed and ready for mischief-- I mean bed haha!

That milk is for Santa, missy!

Waiting for someone to fill my stocking....

And then Christmas mayhem morning!!

Mimosas for all-- ha!

Three generations ;-s

A Christmas walk!

Followed by dinner at some friends' house.

Other friends' on Boxing Day but I took no pics except of the food!

And the next day we headed to Houston for a week-- stay tuned for those awesome adventures!!!

Happy January, friends!!

  7. SO much fun! I didn't take any photos at all Christmas day and only 1 photo on Christmas eve but I didn't even feel bad as I was busy living in the moment and having fun with our family.
