It's the most wonderful time of the year to talk about what's going on Currently....

All the presents!! I used to do a few every night while watching a holiday movie. That's not happening too much these days with Peeping Toms and me being so tired on an evening so I just grab a moment whenever I can, wrap a couple presents and stash them under the tree. Then the same Peeping Toms scrimmage through the presents there to see if they can find one with their name on it.

I'm starting to use a combo of reusable boxes. Of course, I also reuse ribbon and accessories. Even gift tags if I can LOL.

We baked some super simple, delicious  chocolate chip shortbread this weekend. Clearly, we go more for taste than looks, ha! I'll maybe do some Christmas Crack before the season ends and some more shortbread. D usually gets a big batch of cookies from work and my neighbour makes a huge batch of the best cookies so hopefully we are covered more or less.

All the fairy lights and Christmas tree! D hasn't done outside yet and I'm wondering if we will get around to it this year!

Out a letter for a neighbourhood food drive. Well, the girls wrote it and I sent it via email. Overwhelming support from our neighbours and family.

Working (I know!!!) while a Christmas movie is on it the background, the tree is on and there is some snow on the ground.

What have you been up to lately?

  1. Your tree is just gorgeous my friend! Usually I have tons of presents wrapped by now, I need to start doing that!

  2. Yes to all the wrapping, baking, sending, and celebrating! I'm just thankful to have crossed off one of the holiday verbs: shopping all done!

  3. That's great about the neighborhood food drive!

  4. Your tree looks so pretty! I haven't even begun to think about rapping. I have a whole bin in my basement of all bags and ribbon, I'm definitely that person that will save things and reuse them lol

  5. I love that you're doing a neighborhood food drive. And your tree is so pretty!!!

  6. Your tree looks amazing! And I am with you on sitting with my laptop in the living room, tree lit and Christmas movie on in the background - makes working much more fun :)

  7. YUM! I need to get on it with the Christmas baking, and lol at peeping toms! I'm sure we'll have that issue in the coming years :-P

  8. Such a pretty tree; I'm doing pretty good with wrapping so far but I'm waiting for a lot of gifts to still come in. I just love your beautiful tree.

  9. ha ha. I love that, with a one year old, I can wrap in front of him and he doesn't care...he was in the cart when I bought his toys lol.
I also love having a Christmas tree in the background and all the holiday baking.

  10. Your tree is stunning, both lit and unlit. I am trying to pace myself on the wrapping too. Didn't even start until after the Currently post.

Hearing from you makes me so happy!!
