Here are a few random happenings that have been favourites around here
1- Guess who graduated from Kindermusik last week. She's been at it since she was 5 months old and 7 years later, she is done! And can read music like a champ! Highly recommend this program if you're looking for a great introductory musical program for young ones. Her first teacher as a baby was also her last and this was the teacher's last class that she taught!
2- Dare I say spring has finally sprung with a few summer days thrown in for good measure? We have been spending lots of time outdoors enjoying the sun!
Look ma, no jacket!
3- D's parents have come to visit and stay with us for a couple weeks. And my kids have been having so.much.fun. They are loving the delayed bedtimes, tea parties, grandmother sponsored trips to the bookstore and random outings to different restaurants-- they got the foodie gene from D's side! My side is not far behind though!
4-
Cinco de Mayo was spent with a homemade margarita and some takeout Mexican! And today I tried a version of this Mexican casserole ( I added greek yogurt and soy) …. so yum! #vivaelmexico
5- And in honour of The Good Wife Season Finale (which was totally NOT a favourite of mine), I leave you with some smiles.
When my kids ask for breakfast and we need to go to the grocery
I get a fresh blow out and put on some make up
When I donated something and then my kids are looking for it.
Useless meeting that runs incredibly late….
When someone cuts in front of my seven year old in a line.
Have a wonderful weekend, lovelies!
