Hooray, it's Friday!

This weekend could not come fast enough. Between all the stuff with the new house, flying solo with the girls for  more time than usual and trying to get contractors to cooperate, I'm so looking forward to a long weekend! And maybe getting spoilt on Valentine's Day--- hint, hint, D ;-)

1- It is FREEZING cold and going to be even colder this weekend but just look at how beautiful it was!

At sunrise….

Just before school

2- Speaking of cold, one of my least favourite parts of the day is hauling my three year old into the car after she just woke up from nap, walking quite a way and then waiting in the cold for C to come outside. However, this picture from this week cracks me up. Poor thing was so cold, she was trying to cover her face.

3- It's Valentine prep time around here and here are  our cheap and cheerful Valentines for this year!

Both sets of teachers got $5 starbucks drink cards for a warm beverage of choice.

C's class

And A's

4- House update: still waiting on our back-splash to be installed and the walls to be painted. I think when that's done, things will seem a little bit more complete. It's weird just having unpainted drywall in the kitchen.

5- And some funnies for the 14th….

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!! May there be chocolates, kisses and lots of love!

  3. Brilliant teachers' presents...also- it is so beautiful out but why does that always have to be paired with freezing cold? No fair.

  4. Cute Cute Valentines! And I am SOOO jealous of your snow!

  5. Bundling up kiddos for the cold must be a ton of work, but they look so darn cute with all their snow gear! Those dysfunctional conversation hearts cracked me up. Ok 4 Your

  7. I adored those teacher gifts. My students/parents were not in a giving mode this Valentine’s Day :( Oh well. You definitely get major brownie points. I also loved the vday funnies you posted. Have a great weekend!

  10. You make bundling up, dealing with snow and valintine gifts look so easy but it is all hard work. Great job!!!

Hearing from you makes me so happy!!
