Easter weekend was filled with fun, food and friends. I might be 5 pounds heavier but my heart is so happy. What a wonderful weekend it was.
We went to our friend Shannon's new condo on Thursday for some drinks and then headed to the Mill after for our favourite- buck a shuck oyster night :-)
On Friday, we ate fish, braided hair, put on makeup and hung out in our pajamas for almost the entire day.
Yeah, A came downstairs with her eyes 'done'
We met our friends Dani and Jason and their kids for a long walk followed by dinner at their house.
On Saturday, we had an Easter brunch at my friend Jenn's house. Jenn, the queen of pretty things, had quite the spread. Though it was brunch, we ended up staying until 8 in the night and partying like it was 1962!
I copied those lady bugs from a shower I went to (method coming soon)
Jenn had a easter egg hunt for all the littles.
A was a champ, skipping her nap and then going to town on the eggs. She was in her own little world.
Sweet Jenn. Such a good friend. XO
On Sunday, we had a quiet morning at home with Easter Egg hunt #2 and then had a nice dinner once again with Dani, Jason and their family. Egg hunt #3 was on then followed by a delicious turkey dinner. Dani's home made pistachio cardamom cake was the star of the show.
PS. I finally had chocolate after my Lent fast! Our reunion has been sweeetttt…. pun very intended :-)
