Currently.... and a little Q&A

April showers have taken on a whole new meaning around here. LOTS of rain scheduled for the upcoming weeks. Let's hope they do bring those beautiful blooms.

Linking up with Anne for some Currently. Here's what's been going on around here.

Showering- ourselves ;-s

Cultivating- kind, strong, responsible kids. Working on inclusion, cleaning up after themselves and choosing great over good, something we affirm everyday on the way to school.

Expecting- that the tooth fairy will be poor after all the teeth we've been losing around here. In the past month, we've had 4 teeth lost between both kids and at least 4 other loose ones.

Making- some travel plans for the rest of 2018. Woo-hoo!

Buying- some summer clothes. When my mom comes to visit from the US. I order way more than I need online, she brings it for me, I try it on in my own personal space and she returns what doesn't 'spark joy'. Anyone else would probably say no or not do it as quickly but my mom is awesome about it.

And a little spring Q&A with the Blended Blog.

1. What 3 colors remind you most of Spring?
Oh for sure, white, light pink and light yellow! I bust out those white pants way before Memorial Day

2. What is the first thing you’d add to your wardrobe in Spring?
My spring jacket and bright cloth scarves.

3. What is the first wardrobe item you ditch in Spring?
My ugly snow boots.
4. Who mows the grass where you live?
A very nice man named Alonzo. :-)

5. What’s Spring Like where you live?
Spring is so weird. Lots of rain, some times snow, sometimes sunshine! But everyone is in a great mood.

6. What’s Your favorite thing about Spring?
Spending some time outdoors :-)

7. Are you a Spring Cleaner?
I'm a spring and back to school cleaner. I do a big declutter before school is out and once again when it starts back.

8. Are you a Baseball Fan?
Not really but I have been to a couple Jays games.

9. Tulips or Daffodils?
Tulips. I always buy them.
Image may contain: plant and flower
10. Favorite Outdoor Spring Activity?
Long family walks.
Image may contain: plant, tree, bridge, outdoor and nature
11. Flowers in the Ground or in Pots?
Pots for sure. I never used to have a green thumb but call it old age or something, I'm doing okay with the potted stuff for the most part.

12. Favorite Bird?
A Blue Jay!

13. Car Wash or Wash Vehicles at Home?
Car wash though not nearly often enough.

14. When Do You pull out Your sandals?
As soon as I don't have to wear a jacket and scarves!

What's your favourite 'spring thing'?

  9. How exciting about all the toofies! Yay for ditching your snow boots, but sounds like they'll be exchanged for some rain boots. Bring on all the May flowers <3

  10. Yes, to tulips, always! My very favorite. And yes to cultivating all of those excellent things in kids... though at times it feels even harder than cultivating plants - and that's saying something, as someone with a black thumb ;-)
