"Spring" Weekending

This weekend:
- was waaaayyyy colder than the seasonal norms with some snow thrown in for good measure! Here's hoping the temps climb from here on out.

- our family went out to dinner to begin the weekend at a quaint, somewhat adult tapas restaurant. My kids asked for pencil crayons and the owner chuckled. They did love all the different, delicious food though.

- I made huevos ranchos and black bean brownies bright and early on Saturday morning.

- we headed to a swim meet and C did really well. Yay for improving her personal best time in ALL THREE OF HER RACES. Can you tell we are so happy all her hard work is paying off.

- friends invited over for some delicious paella and great company.

- A had a playdate with her bestie while the parents chatted.

- C and D went to a Raptors game that she won from raising money in her swim-a-thon

- A and I had mommy daughter time including some math, manis and brownies!!

All these missing teeth!

A wonderful weekend for sure! And a little lady is turning nine tomorrow!

  9. Mmmmm tapas - always THE BEST to pick you up in cold weather - the paprika in everything is just pure sunshine! Your girls are so cute - the tooth fairy must be costing you an arm and a leg ;) Sounds like you are quite the cook - the black bean brownies sound very interesting! Joanne x

  11. This winter has been ridiculous. Jealous about the Raptors' game- I would love to see them play sometime.
