Good morning, lovelies! This week will be a busy one, preparing for our family coming and getting ready for our little vacay but we did not let it stop us from have a fun-filled busy, weekend.
We:
- Hosted our neighbourhood happy hour on Friday. Every couple weeks someone takes a turn hosting happy hour in the summer. The guests bring their drink and an appetizer. It's a great way to end the busy week but it's definitely more than one hour-- some guests left here close to 11!
- made zucchini bread (a and me) and went for a bike ride (D & C)
- visited my high school friend, Sonya and her family for sushi, a walk through the Harbourfront, a quick view of the West African festival, the most beautiful sushi, gelato and great conversation.
- slept in on Sunday--- actually we slept in on Saturday too.
- the girls had swimming lessons
- went to Cavalia-- a horse and acrobatic show touted 'Best Show Ever'. There's a reason for that. I cannot say enough good things about the show!
- dined at a restaurant where they took 45 minutes to bring our meal and then they didn't even bring my main. A said that the waiter said sorry and made a mistake though so I should forgive him. #doingsomethingright
- went for ice cream since I just had a soggy Ceasar salad for my main.
And just like that, it's Monday again!!

She took a very short, very expensive little nap.
Linking up with the lovely Biana for weekending
I totally feel your frustration when the food takes forever to come out!! The sushi though - YUM! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
