How did it get to be the end of July already?! A friend told me to start thinking of summer as the end of May to the end of September so that we can enjoy the sweet sunshiny mindset for just a little longer. So that's what I'm going to do :-)
What we're eating this week?
Monday: curried chicken and cauliflower rice
Tuesday: grilled stuff
Wednesday: early dinner with a friend- Mexican takeout!
Thursday: thai tofu salad most likely.
Friday: leftovers and then happy house at a neighbour's house
We are starting back to keep things low carb and low sugar after indulging a bit on vacay
What I'm reminiscing about
Our trip to Greece seems like such a long time ago. Athens posted-- coming soon Naxos and Santorini

What I'm loving
The sweet sunshine... so much of it!
What we've been up to…
We've had two weeks of camp. Last week was horse back riding. It was A's first time and girlfriend was a natural!
What I'm dreading…
The end of August... I feel like time is a-flying
What I'm working on
Work LOL, incorporating the practice and closing off some stuff before we head to....
What I'm excited about…
NYC for 1 week with the girls. A whole lot of family time and some time in the city hopefully
What I'm watching/reading…
I just finished Jane the virgin--- Holy cliffhanger!
Just started The Fosters and loving it!
Lots of reading in the works but for right now it's When Life gives you Lululemons
What I'm listening to..
not a whole lot except some podcasts here and there
What I'm wearing…
Summer dresses! And I've finally found a kimono to wear though D says it's one step above a house coat LOL.
What I'm doing this weekend…
Happy Hour with our neighbours on Friday. Friends coming over on Saturday and Sunday is pretty chill with a playdate.
What I'm looking forward to next month..
Some busy, some lazy, some family!!! NYC, day trips and meeting up with some friends
What else is new?
We celebrated a little lady with an ice cream party on Saturday. For her actual birthday, girlfriend wanted celebratory pancakes, a movie, some shopping , playing and dinner out with her family!
Nachos for the win--- and SO many missing teeth in this pic!
Happy hump day!

Cant wait for the rest of your Greece posts. Love them. And I'm doing really well on the low carb no sugar train. PS Where did you get the recipe for the thai tofu - I'd love to make thai curry home - Danny loves thai food!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking for a kimono too. I loved the Fosters! Such a good show.
