It's been a while-- 10 months to be exact and I've really missed my little corner of the interwebs. I sit here tonight thinking I should get some work done but instead I find myself gravitating to this little space--- my unicorn space if you will. I truly miss blogging and the connection it used to bring with all of my online friends. Social media today is so fast and disconnected. True blogging with meaningful posts and connections is where it's at.
So for the twelve people reading this blog...y'all need anything from the gas station (instagrammers will understand that one).
Here's a little snippet of a few things we did this past year.
On January, we were locked down YET again in Canada. This time we actually did end up getting COVID. Mild cases for D and I, A tested negative and flu like symptoms for C. We then proceeded to have what we hope were the last of our online parties for my birthday with the kids having an Oscar themed party for me.
February brought cold temps, skiing for the kids, Valentines Day and we spent a night at our family's home for family day.
We hightailed it out of here in March to Mexico... I booked the tix right after we got COVID #winning. It was SO awesome to travel again.
In April, we became parents of a teenager. She had a Just Dance party with 6 of her closest friends- all male!
May brought more birthdays and C's first ever Youth Orchestra concert.

June was spent soaking up as much summer sun as we could. D and the kids also flew to Universal to spend some time with my inlaws, Much fun in the sun,
July was a bit hard for our family as my brother in law who was cycling got hit by a falling tree- many injuries but by God's beautiful grace, he is improving daily. D flew to be with his brother, I had my first sales meeting since 2012 and we are all double digits in this house.

The kids and I also went to NYC for the first time since 2019. It was so good for my soul to meet up with my family once more..
In August, we visited Jamaica for trip we cancelled twice before. Another good for the soul visit with my family. We also spent a week in Napanee, Ontario with our family.
And now we're back at it once again with school, work, extra curricular and some renos that are making me go slightly insane.
Have a wonderful week, friends! I hope to visit this space again soon :-).
